When I entered one of the print studios at SAIC for the very first time, I sat at a table to the left of the entryway and it became my spot over the duration of the class. A couple weeks in, I noticed someone had carved “Gone Squatchin” into the metal table. Being a big fan of Bigfoot from perusing channels and discovering a little show called “Finding Bigfoot” as a child, I was delighted to see someone had gone out of their way to vandalize the table in order to make me smile (because I’m absolutely sure that was their intention). Whatever the origin story, I wanted to pay tribute to it in a print of my own to hang up in my own studio and share with other bigfoot enthusiasts!
